Preparing For The Arrival Of BabyThe whole nine months of a pregnancy you are playing a waiting game. Waiting because you are excited about finally meeting your baby and waiting anxiously to see that everything is in good condition and the baby is healthy. The wait can be awful as your mommy instincts are already present without actually having the bub right in front of you to look after. Because so many pregnant women are anxious they often try to soothe their maternal instincts by nesting. Part of this process involves buying all the necessities for bub. Another part of the temptation to shop till you drop is that baby stuff is so adorable. Seriously, you cannot get much cuter than Disney baby bedding, little jumpsuits and teensy socks. If you had endless amounts of cash, you could still make a dent in your fortunes with all the lovely baby equipment that there is. You may not need a lot of it though, so get all the essentials and buy high quality stuff, but wait to see if you need other items before you spend up big time. One essential item is a crib: something like a convertible baby crib white is a very sensible idea. White is a good choice so that you can save it for the arrival of future babies that might not be the same sex as the one you are currently expecting. To accompany the crib you will also need a crib mattress, depending on the design of the crib, and a good bedding collection. You will need loads of sheets and blankets as babies are very good at either wetting them or vomiting on them. You will probably be amazed at the number you will go through. Several other items might be found useful, but you can wait to buy them as they might be an expense that you do not need. They include a diaper changing table, rocker, baby sling and other bits and pieces. A safe and secure baby seat for the car and an easy to move pram are also essential items to have on hand. The impending arrival of a new baby is one of the most exciting times for a new mom. You can go crazy buying an endless amount of baby stuff, but as long as you have the fundamentals in place before the baby arrives, then you can fill in the gaps later: if there are any.
